ABOUT ME
Brigid O’Brien is a New York City based actress, singer, and songwriter. She is a proud NYU graduate with a BFA from Tisch School of the Arts, as well as a member of the Actors Equity Union.
At the age of 14, Brigid got diagnosed with a rare vision condition leaving her visually impaired. Her passion for the arts and performing helped her regain her footing, and navigate this diagnosis with excellence and professionalism. She is dedicated to increasing awareness and support for actors with both invisible and visible disabilities, and fights for them to have a place in the room.

Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Brigid has done lots of professional work in regional theaters in the area, including the American Conservatory Theater and the San Francisco Opera. She is also passionate about keeping art accessible, most recently touring Shakespeare’s The Tempest through all NYC boroughs, bringing Shakespeare to underserved communities.
